Terms of Service

Last updated 2026

This page is provided in English, which is the governing version.

1. Agreement to terms

By creating a TravelDesk account, accessing an operator's booking site, or otherwise using the TravelDesk platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What TravelDesk is

TravelDesk is a booking and operations platform for boat transfer and ferry operators. Operators use it to manage routes, schedules, staff, agents and reporting; customers use it to search, book and manage transfer tickets on an operator's own booking site.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Operator accounts are responsible for the accuracy of the routes, pricing and schedules they publish, and for honoring bookings made against them.

4. Bookings & payments

When you book a transfer, you're entering into an agreement directly with the operator, not with TravelDesk. TravelDesk facilitates the booking and, where enabled, the payment — but the operator is responsible for delivering the service you booked. Refund and cancellation terms are set by each operator.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use TravelDesk to submit fraudulent bookings, scrape or resell data without permission, attempt to bypass security controls, or interfere with other operators' or customers' use of the platform.

6. Operator content

Operators are responsible for the routes, pricing, imagery, branding and other content they publish on their booking site. TravelDesk doesn't pre-screen this content but may remove content that violates these terms.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep TravelDesk available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned downtime may occur from time to time.

8. Limitation of liability

TravelDesk is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, TravelDesk is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including missed departures, booking errors, or disputes between operators and customers.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of TravelDesk after a change means you accept the updated terms.
